Our CoachesDion GuyDion completed his degree BSc (Physiology/Biochemistry) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1994, before starting a professional career as a triathlete competing on the European circuit for 4 years. Being a lifelong competitive athlete with provincial and national colours on Triathlon, Swimming and Soccer, it was cycling that eventually allowed him to match his passion for numbers with his passion for competing. His graduate background in physiology and biochemistry, his keen interest in emerging sports science research (and the application of new and experimental techniques), as well as his actual experience at competing at the highest level, make him a well rounded coach. Dion still competes competitively focusing on ultra endurance events His current interest being on how the mind influences our physical performance in extreme events.
